Why two-person support matters
Cats move. One person does not always have enough hands.
The TANDEM Cat® model was built around a simple physical reality: one person may need to support balance, protect joints, read behavior, prevent escape, and perform detailed care at the same time.
Dividing those responsibilities can reduce the intensity of restraint and create more precise access. It also allows one practitioner to stay focused on the cat’s whole-body response while the other performs the technical task.
The first mobile visit commonly uses two practitioners because the team has not yet observed the cat. Future visits may be assigned to one practitioner when that is supported by the first appointment.
